“A race of people is like an individual man; until it uses its own talent, takes pride in its own history, expresses its own culture, affirms its own selfhood, it can never fulfill itself.”

Malcolm X

HISTORY OF "ARABANJI"

In the 1920s in Palestine, a taxi driver was called "Arabanji".

The photo above illustrates the first taxi introduced to Nazareth by the Palestinian Abu Al-Asal family, 1928.

The family was one of the market leaders in the import and usage of vehicles in Palestine.

A Arabanji was a reputable position as there was a scarcity of cars.

We believe in embracing and preserving Palestinian history.
